3M Hot Melt adhesive

Jet--melt General Purpose Adhesive 3750 AE from 3M is an affordable formulation that takes full advantage of the new high--volume Polygun AE II Applicator. The adhesive’s low viscosity provides a high flow rate for increased production. Its good hot tack properties allow it to grab quickly while providing up to 50 seconds of open time to meet production requirements. Jet--melt adhesive from 3M provides the shear and peel strengths needed for such jobs as sealing drawer bottoms, attaching corner blocks, and reinforcing v--grooves with wood blocks.

ClearMelt from Jowat Adhesives

ClearMelt is the “unfilled” edgebanding hotmelt glue from Jowat Adhesives. Key advantages are its greater green strength, broader application window and nearly invisible glue line. These three combine to make ClearMelt for a broad range of applications and materials, including solid wood, veneer, PVC and resinated paper. With ClearMelt the need for color changeover is virtually eliminated. With ClearMelt you can use up to 50 percent less glue to achieve the same bonding strength as “filled” hotmelt.

Henkel DORUS adhesives

Henkel Adhesives offers DORUS adhesives. The new generation of EVA hotmelts offers processing without stringing during edgebanding and profile wrapping, leading to clean finished products. Release agents and cleaning are mostly not needed. DORUS KS 208 and DORUS KS 211 for edgebanding and DORUS US 253/5 for wrapping offer these benefits.

Jowat Corporation’s ViseTite

Jowat Corporation’s ViseTite line of professional adhesives is a polyurethane--based (PUR) high--performance adhesive engineered for low foaming action to require less cleanup and/or sanding, and faster cure times to speed production. Available in several sizes, there are two initial formulas, ViseTite and ViseTite Plus. Both are waterproof and excellent for most applications. The ViseTite Plus formula features virtually no foaming and exceeds ASTM 2559 strength requirements for structural applications.
