National Detroit's High Gloss Finish Kit
National Detroit introduces the High Gloss Finish Kit. This kit allows you to get a high gloss finish in minutes, eliminating orange peel and dust nibs in the process. The kit contains a National Detroit Random DA Model PGU Palm Sander and a Model XLB Sander/Polisher. Everything you need to achieve a high gloss finish is included in the kit, including Mirka Abralon abrasive and System One one-step cutting/polishing compound.
Max Industrial Edge Sanders
Max Industrial has expanded its offering of sanding equipment to include three new models of edge sanders. The Model ES-108 has two adjustable wooden support tables that help to protect the surface of the work piece. The OES-150 offers sanding belt oscillation and adjustable tilting worktables. Both models are available in single-phase and three-phase power. The OES-160 (pictured) is a heavy-duty oscillating edge sander with two 60-in. long work tables and a three-phase 7 1/2-hp drive motor.

RIDGID offers the Oscillating Edge/Belt Spindle Sander (Model EB4424). By merely removing a soft-touch knob, the user can convert from belt sander to spindle sander without tools. The sander features an adjustable 0- to 48-degree tilting table with detents at the most often used angles. The powerful 3/8-hp, 5.0-amp motor features permanently lubricated sleeve bearing construction for smooth operation and long life. Additionally, the sander includes on-board storage for drums, throat plates, washers and belt mechanism.

Dynabrade, Inc. introduces the 11-in. Random Orbital Sander, featuring a new air motor and many ergonomic improvements. The sander is ideal for use on large areas of solid surface, fiberglass, wood and many other materials. The sander features a powerful .7-hp air motor and runs at 2,400 rpm. The 3/4-in. diameter Random Orbital Action assures a swirl-free finish on a variety of surfaces. With an extra-large 11-in. work area, this tool covers the largest work area of any Dynabrade tool. The tool is available in non-vacuum and vacuum-ready configurations.
