Interested in becoming the benchmark in woodworking quality and aesthetic appeal? Wood Digest’s Innovative Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) competition honors superior craftsmanship and creativity in woodworking. The contest is open to projects completed between May 15, 2008 and June 12, 2009. Compete with your peers to prove why your work should be considered the epitome of woodworking quality and aesthetic appeal.
Get recognized for the amazing work your company produces. Submit different projects in any of our 11 categories — or submit the same project in multiple categories. Don’t be shy, enter more than one masterpiece!
- Projects considered for IDEA must have been completed between May 15, 2008 and June 12, 2009.
- Entry of a single project under more than one category is permitted as long as each entry
meets each category standards. (For example: You may enter an environmentally friendly kitchen
in both the Green and the a custom cabinetry category.)
- The deadline for entries is June 12, 2009. After entrants have submitted
the entry form — by mail, fax or electronically — and have paid the fee, Wood
Digest will mail a binder outlining the items required from you: images, specs, details
about the project, etc,.
- Entry fee: There is a $75 fee for each entry. If you are submitting one project in multiple categories, you must pay the $75 fee for each additional category.
- There is no limit for the number of entries that a company can submit. Each entry must be individually specified on the entry form. Separate binders will be mailed for each entry.
- Binders must be completed and returned to Wood Digest by June
22, 2009.
